Brad Edwards: Live Performances
4 Impromptus for Low Bone Alone
This is new piece I have written either for bass trombone or tenor that enjoys playing low. As you'll hear, each movement is preceeded by a short reading to set the mood. These recordings are from my USC faculty recital (Oct. 2006). I hope to have these pieces published soon.
Enrique Crespo: Improvisation No. 1
This is also from that USC faculty recital in October, 2006. Not the cleanest rendition, but I had fun playing it!
Sigismond Stojowski: Fantasie
I performed this in a guest recital at Tennessee Tech in October 2006.
Lynn Kompass collaborated with me on the performance.
Dick Goodwin: Characters
I commissioned Dick to write this piece for me and premiered on a recital tour in Texas in 2004.
Adam Gorb: Downtown Diversions
I performed this piece with the USC wind ensemble in Atlanta. USC was part of a consortium that commissioned Gorb to compose this piece.
Derek Bourgeois: Trombone Concerto
I also performed the second and third movements of this piece with the USC wind ensemble.
Eric Ewazen: Elizabethan Songbook
I performed this piece with Mike Miller on trumpet and Winifred Goodwin on piano.
Verne Reynolds: 6 Duos for Horn and Trombone
I have performed ths piece several times with my wife, Martha. An excellent piece with many opportunities for both technical flash and expressive freedom.
